A special education activity on the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important letter to young scholars who have returned from studying abroad at our university
On May 18, 2022, General Secretary Xi Jinping wrote back to our university's young scholars who had returned from studying abroad, expressing sincere expectations for them. General Secretary Xi Jinping's earnest guidance has pointed out the direction for overseas returnees and young teachers and students to move forward.
At the beginning of the new semester, in order to help students at all levels strengthen their confidence and overcome difficulties, Liu Haohan, the secretary of the faculty and student party branch of the school, led all students to relearn the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's reply to our school's young scholars who returned from studying abroad. Classmates have expressed their commitment to fulfilling their expectations, setting lofty goals, and being down-to-earth. They are brave enough to tackle key technologies that hinder progress, and strive to set an example in strengthening cultural confidence and telling the story of China well. They have effectively transformed the spirit of their replies into a conscious action to serve the country and the people, and have contributed their own strength to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation through practical actions.
Summer Social Practice
The social practice team of Taking Shenzhen as a Mirror, Reflecting on the Road of Suzhou Campus conducted in-depth research on the current situation of school enterprise integration in Shenzhen universities and its inspiration for Nanjing University Suzhou campus, and conducted field research on the current situation of school enterprise integration in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. Among them, the visits to Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen) and Sun Yat Sen University Shenzhen Campus deepened the team members' understanding of the school enterprise cooperation mode and talent cultivation path; In addition, the team went deep into the interior of high-tech enterprises and visited enterprises such as Honor, Tencent, Huawei, and CMB Network in turn, enhancing the team members' understanding of industry trends and workplace needs, stimulating their thinking on future career planning, and deepening their understanding of school enterprise cooperation methods. This social practice has enabled team members to understand various ways of integrating industry, academia, and research, student training strategies, and diverse school enterprise cooperation models in Shenzhen University. We hope to provide suggestions and recommendations for the development of school enterprise integration in the Suzhou campus in the future.
Members of each Youth League branch and class committee summarized and reported on the overall situation of class construction in the previous academic year in the form of work reports, summarized their experiences, and reflected on their shortcomings.
The students shared their gains, growth, future development goals, and plans by reviewing their studies and lives over the past year.
At the class meeting, each class also elected a new class committee member based on democratic evaluation and voting.
Counselor Liu Haohan also provided some career planning suggestions for different stages of learning, encouraging students to experience more, experience more, and make decisions again, and make the best decisions and choices that meet their own development needs. In terms of class construction, he affirmed the contributions made by the class committee and youth league branch to class construction, and hoped that the new class committee and youth league branch would inherit and innovate, fully play the role of organizational leadership and bridge, implement the educational requirements of the university and school on the basis of understanding the needs of students, and form a joint force for education. Finally, Liu Haohan looks forward to the students continuing to forge ahead and strive to become responsible and accountable members of the Nanjing University of Science and Technology.
